Is Closer a therapy app?

No. Closer is an educational tool designed to help couples build self-awareness and communication skills. It is not a substitute for professional therapy or counseling. If you're experiencing serious relationship difficulties, we encourage you to seek support from a licensed professional.

How do I share audio from Voice Memos?

Open Voice Memos, select a recording, tap the share icon, and choose Closer from the share sheet. The audio will be automatically imported and processed.

How does partner linking work?

During onboarding, enter your partner's email address. When your partner downloads the app and creates an account with that same email, you'll be automatically linked. Once linked, you can share conversation insights with each other.

Who can see my transcripts?

Your transcripts are private by default. You control who can see them — both you and your partner must explicitly approve transcript access for each recording before either of you can view it.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently delete all your recordings, transcripts, and account data. This action cannot be undone.

How do I change my email address?

Email changes aren't currently supported in-app. Contact us at closerprototype@gmail.com and we'll help you update it.
